What difference is between radlinux.iso and install.tar.gz? (index)

File radlinux.iso is an ISO image, that can be used to burn a bootable CD. Gzipped tarball install.tar.gz consists only of kernel image and init ramdisk and can be used with "install system from ..." shell command or (unpacked) to boot via DHCP.
